Push dagger is not very commonly used for self-defense. However, it is gradually captivating the attention of the people. It has suddenly become a popular weapon for battling the attackers. It is a small-sized type of dagger. 

It is mainly known for its T-shaped handle and a thick and short blade. It is the smallest dagger and can be carried in the pocket. Also, it provides great control and grip, thanks to its T-shaped handle. 

So, the user can hold it firmly against the attacker. These are the reasons that have urged people to use it for self-defense.

Carry It in the Pocket

Since push dagger is a small-sized dagger, never carry it in your hands. I know it can fit perfectly in your palm. 

But, it can also fit into your pocket. So, try to keep it in your pocket and never pull it out unless you have to defend against an attacker. 


Hold it from the Handle

There is a T-shaped handle of this dagger. You must hold it into your finger in a way that it sticks into the middle of your fingers. This will provide you a strong grip on the handle. However, you can try another way you feel comfortable with. 


Thrust or Stab the Attacker

This dagger has a pointed blade. So, you can easily thrust or stab the attacker and quickly injure him. The advantage of this blade is that you can’t be disarmed. 

So, you can take your time, adjust the daggers in your hands and use it when required. A couple of strikes are necessary to put the attacker on his feet.
